Jesus Isনমুনা

Day 15: Total Humility and/or Authority
Jesus is the King of the universe, the all-powerful, all-knowing, all-seeing, all-encompassing, over-everything God. Yet, He humbled Himself. He allowed Himself to be made smaller, condensed into flesh, and become a servant of all. Why did power allow itself to be abused, misunderstood, and trampled? Why did God not speak when lies and criticisms were flung like mud repeatedly, and accusations led to condemnation of one without sin?
1) Which of these two parts of Jesus am I more comfortable with? Why?
2) What can I learn about Jesus and put into practice from accepting the part of Jesus that comes less naturally to me?
3) Write a short statement to remind yourself of these multi-faceted truths about Jesus.
a) Philippians 2:5-11
b) Isaiah 53:7-9
c) Matthew 11:27
d) John 17:2
About this Plan

This December, we want to celebrate who JESUS IS. He is much more than we can comprehend; He is so good and multi-faceted! This reading plan will serve as an opportunity to look deeper into the many aspects of Jesus this holiday season. This plan was created by Madeleine Weidemann.
