How often do you forget things? From where you placed your phone to the chore your parents asked you to do, we can all be forgetful. This happens with our faith, too. We feel so inspired at church after a great message, but a few hours later, we fall back into the same bad habits of the day before. The key to notice in this verse is that it starts with the word, “again.” Jesus just told the disciples that peace was with them because He was there, but He took the time to patiently declare it again. Thankfully, He’s not afraid of our doubts and doesn’t condemn us when we forget. Instead, Jesus is always there giving second chances and reminding us of what’s true, again, and again, and again.
Today, write down three worries in your life. Then, ask Jesus to remind you of what’s true, even if He has to do it again and again!
