Respect For A King?
The time had come and the Magi came looking and asking for the King of the Jews. This stirred the city of Jerusalem and frightened King Herod. Then, thirty years later, Pilate did not recognize Jesus as a king and gave Him over to the maddening crowd. The soldiers struck him, spit on him, mocked him, stripped him, and then crucified him on a cross. Today, we worship this same Jesus as King of kings, and Lord of lords. Angels bow before Him and cry, “Holy, Holy, Holy!” One day, every knee shall bow and every tongue confess, that “He is Lord of all.” He is exalted above all things on earth and heaven above. What a mighty God, He is! Let us acknowledge Him as King and honour Him for He is worthy of praise and worship.
Prayer: Glory to the King of kings. I worship You King Jesus and confess that You are Lord of all. I magnify Your Holy name and praise You. Be the Lord of my life and Let Your Will be done. Amen.
