Stay on Track! Paul's Letter to the Galatiansনমুনা
Being focused on Jesus Christ
“Far be it from me to boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.” (Galatians 6:14)
The apostle Paul concludes his letter by repeating a few key points. He is not out for his glory. His life is focused on Jesus Christ. The world has lost all attraction for him. Although Paul still lives on this earth, earthly things do not determine his life's purpose. He is focused on “the new creation” that has already been planted in his heart, is gradually unfolding in his life,, and will come to full fruition when Jesus returns to create a new earth. One might say that Paul has his head in the clouds and therefore is not impressed by all those things that are important to people who do not know God. He is not concerned about social status. He doesn't long for admiration. He doesn't care about luxury. But he longs all the more for the Kingdom of God, and it disturbs him deeply when others spread misleading views that keep people away from God.
Do you have the same attitude as Paul? Are you also a bit “other-worldly” and focused on the eternal future rather than the here and now? How is that reflected in your life?

About this Plan
Paul wrote a letter to the Galatians because he was very concerned about their spiritual well-being. They were in danger of straying from the right path, and Paul goes to great lengths to keep them from that. His explanations and advice are still extremely relevant today!
