Give. Save. Trust. Achieving a Godly Money Mindsetনমুনা
The Bible’s stance on money, more specifically being a wise steward of money, is quite clear.
We are called to do 3 things: give thanks for what we have, give back to our church and those in need, and trust that He will provide beyond our wildest dreams.
And, yet…
Our humanly-flawed hearts and minds look for loopholes and shortcuts. We have what I like to call “selective memory.” We’ll remember the thanks part, but not the part about tithing.
It’s Leviticus 27:30 “A tithe of everything from the land, whether grain from the soil or fruit from the trees, belongs to the Lord; it is holy to the Lord” in case you need a refresher…
Here’s the thing, it’s easier now than ever to spend and rack up debt. We've gone from writing paper checks to drop into a literal mailbox, to hovering our phone or card and paying with an invisible *ding*.
Now is not the time to have selective memory. Give. Save. Trust.
When was the last time you gave a donation of time or money to your church home? How can you be of service?
