Royal and Worth It

Have you found yourself praying with an undeserving posture because you put more trust in what man says instead of what Jesus did? A fundamental truth in grasping our worth as believers is the ability to recognize our true identity. For as long as I can remember, I have been inclined to be a people pleaser. I wrapped my worth in the affirmation of man. I sought value in everything other than God's divine purpose (career, economic status, physical image, etc.). Needless to say, I was frequently left disappointed and disillusioned until the "great awakening". In retrospect, it was like grieving over something that I had never lost. Let that sink in for a moment. One of the greatest lessons I've learned on my Christian journey is that what we do and who we are, are two separate things. Remember that our worth was solidified in the shed blood of Jesus Christ. Jesus paid the ultimate price because He saw us as valuable, then and now!
