Beyond Beliefনমুনা
If you've ever tried to build a house of cards, you know how risky it all is. You can carefully balance all the cards in a neat little stack, but just one little wobble and the whole thing comes down. And it is always the WHOLE thing. You never see just part of a house of cards fall over. If you lose one part of it, you lose the whole thing.
Are you ever worried that your faith is kind of like a house of cards? As long as the whole thing is standing upright, it's okay. But if one little part of it starts to crumble, doesn't it kind of seem like the whole thing might fall down? Maybe you're worried that if you have a few doubts or questions about God or the Bible, then those doubts and questions will start spiraling and before you know it, they will take over your whole entire life.
That's a totally understandable fear, but don't worry . . . it's just not the way doubt works. The Bible is full of stories of men and women who brought their questions and doubts to God. They knew that God was big enough and strong enough to handle them. And that's true for us today too.
In today's Bible reading, a man asks Jesus to help him overcome his unbelief. That's how we can ask God for help with our doubts, too. Trust that God is strong enough to keep your faith standing, despite your doubts.

About this Plan
The Bible is full of statements and stories that seem "beyond belief." Some sound too miraculous — like, did God really split a whole sea in half? Other things sound too good to be true — like, is God really as loving, patient, or powerful as Scripture says? If you've ever wondered if what the Bible says is really worth believing, this devotional is for you.
