DAY 5: Desiring More of God

Did you know that an encounter with God goes with you wherever you go? We have the ability to encounter more of God everyday and experience more of His goodness. Don’t put a limit and lid on experiencing God just because you had an encounter with Him one time. It’s time for our generation to believe that we can experience and encounter Him more everyday regardless of where we are or where we are at in life, but there is always more of God we can encounter! God is infinite meaning that we will never run out of things to encounter of Him, because He is infinite God.

We can encounter the same God in your bedroom, on the bus, in your home, at your Connect Group, or at church today! It all starts with a heart that says, God I want you more, stoke a fresh fire in my heart. As Christians, we are called to grow in our faith daily, so that we can help others grow in their same relationship with God too. God doesn’t put a limit on how much we can taste of Him, but sometimes we do! Take off the limits and posture yourself with God with a heart that says I desire something new of you today. When we taste a dimension of God, it stirs us to continue to keep desiring the goodness of who He is. Ask God to show you a new dimension of His love, grace, power, and calling that will propel you to everyday desire for more.

Prayer: God, I'm thankful that you make yourself know to your people and you meet us when we call out to you. Today God, I ask to encounter you again. Help me to walk in your presence each day. Amen.
