OUTCRY: God’s Heart For Your Churchনমুনা
Powerful
Gates are defensive not offensive.
Recently in the light of polls and pop-culture the Church has felt the need to go on the defensive. To feel like we are the ones that need to fortify our gates. But the power of the gospel is meant to take the fight to the enemy. The power and love of Jesus is meant to break the four walls of the church— to take to the streets and see the gates of the enemy fail.
But what is “the fight?” What does “the battle” look like? Is it physical? Is it political?
When Jesus said that the gates of hell won’t prevail against us, he doesn't say that there is something that we have to do to earn this power. He never laid out 7 easy steps to a powerful church or created a prospectus on the powerful potential of the church you could join. He said that we are powerful. He said that he would build it, and because of that we are powerful. It is who we are as the body of Christ. When we rely on Jesus and put our trust in him, we receive all that we need.
Prayer: You say the gates of hell will not prevail against our offense. You say we have every spiritual blessing. Remind your church that she is equipped and powerful. Amen.

About this Plan
Looking for the next big thing? Look no further than your church! God has placed you in the greatest movement in history even on the days it doesn't feel like it. The church is imperfect. But something beautiful happens when we commit to what’s in front of us and catch God’s heart for his Bride! The next big thing is here. It’s always been here. It’s the local church.
