Romans Part 2 - Faithনমুনা
AMAZING GRACE
This passage is something I have been struggling with recently. My question is: are we under the law or under grace?
The Lord revealed to me, through the apostle Paul’s writings, that we have been freed from our sins through the sacrifice of Christ. (Ephesians 2:8) Christ fulfilled many bible prophecies by being our Passover lamb. In the Old Testament, the Israelites had to sacrifice an animal every time they sinned. The animal provided mediation to the Father, to God. (Hebrews 9:12, 15) Christ is our mediator to the Father. I was dead in my sin. I am so glad Christ chose to be our sacrifice so that we can be reconciled to the Father. Because of Adam and Eve, humanity was forever born into sin until Jesus paid for us to be free!
I am glad I chose Jesus because I don’t know where I would be without Him!
The grace imparted to us through Christ is something we don’t deserve. I am thankful for the amazing grace bestowed upon me by God. In response to my question earlier, I believe that we are currently experiencing the incredible and unmerited mercy of God. However, this does not give us the freedom to act without regard for our actions. For as Jesus said,“ If you love me, you will keep my commands.”
Let’s keep burning for Jesus!
