It is all too easy to think that we are not going to have enough to survive. It is so easy to worry that we are not going to be able to have the things we need. However, Jesus tells us in our passage that this is not true. God provides for us. We just need to pray that He will and He will. Remember, God is a loving Father, so He will take care of us. We may not always have everything we want, but God will always give us what we need to make it through the day. It may not be everything we want or expect, but God will provide for us. He always has, because He is a loving Father. This has never been more true than it is with Jesus. God provided Jesus to save us from our sins, which is what we needed more than anything. Today, let's pray that God provides us with what we need, not what we want. Ask God to reveal any areas in your life where you are not trusting Him to provide for you.
