Day 3: Living Holy Lives

Holiness, righteousness, purity, godliness, and sanctification are all biblical truths, virtues, and values that must still be highly regarded in the Christian faith. Holy means to be dedicated or consecrated to God. When you choose to live holy, this is where you guard your eyes, guard your ears against ungodly and unholy things in this world. God has given us all a plan and purpose to fulfill on this earth. We can’t allow ourselves to be pulled by ungodliness in the world today. It will try to pull you from God’s plan and purpose for your life. Rather than us giving ourselves to the world, let us lay our lives down on the altar and give our strength, energy,and passion to God as a living sacrifice and an offering of praise!

Prayer: Heavenly Father, I thank you that I am no longer a sinner and who I was before Christ. I thank you; my flesh has been crucified with Christ; I no longer have to live in the flesh because Christ lives in me! I ask you to help me guard my eyes and ears against ungodly and unholy things in this world. Thank you, Father; you have given me a plan and purpose to fulfill on this earth. I lay my life down on the altar and give my strength, energy, and passion to God as a living sacrifice and an offering of praise. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
