HIStory: A Six Week Study of the Gospel of Johnনমুনা
"A Different Side of Jesus"
The Temple was very sacred to the Jews, yet they had perverted the purpose of it. Jesus was filled with a righteous anger and he cleared out the people who had turned this Holy Place into a market. When the Jews demanded by what authority Jesus did these things, Jesus declared, "destroy this temple and I will raise it up in three days.” The Jews instantly thought about the building they were standing in, but that was not the temple Jesus meant.
Jesus was actually predicting his death and resurrection. The Temple Jesus referred to was his body. Jesus’ resurrection was the ultimate stamp on his authority as the Son of God.
Most people don’t picture Jesus getting angry. Was Jesus justified in his response of anger?
What signs has God shown you to that you would believe in Him?

About this Plan
Jesus was more than just a figurative religious voice. He actually walked this earth as a man revealing to us the full nature of God. One of his best friends, John, took time to write down for us the account of his life, ministry, and teachings. This six-week study through the Gospel of John is not only history, but it’s also His Story.
