Ramadan: Prayer Guide | Releasing the Light of Christ to the Muslim World

DAY 8 OF 30

The Presence of the Spirit

Some devout Muslim friends in the Arab world have recently become intrigued by the idea of mindfulness and meditation. A Christian woman led them through some exercises where they were encouraged to ask God to meet them within their imaginations. They invited God to bring up some hard memories and then watched to see how He would respond to them in bringing about healing. She did not use the name of Jesus nor Christian-specific language, but God still met them. Being open to hearing from God this way was a totally new idea to them, but they loved it!

Although these Muslims neither know nor believe in Jesus, the Holy Spirit is encountering them unexpectedly and showing them His compassion and grace. There is nowhere anyone can go and not find that God is already working there—not even within the minds and hearts of unbelievers!

Prayer

Father, I thank you that there is no place that anyone can be away from Your Spirit. No matter how hard or dark or unreached by the Gospel a place is, You are working there still. Please continue to meet Muslims uniquely and reveal Your character to them. As they seek You, while they do not yet know You, please protect them from being led astray by lies and false teachings about who You are.
