Real Hope: The Passion - Week 2নমুনা
The Passion Week 2 - Reflection
What Jesus went through that last day and a half leading up to His crucifixion was terrible. He was flogged, mocked, slapped, ridiculed, carrying His cross, Simon’s forced assistance, and then crucified.
As we think about Easter and all that it brings and reminds us of, we are sad about what Jesus had to do for us to satisfy the price that had to be paid for our sin. But we have joy knowing that it had to be done because, without that, we would be bereft of hope, a life without meaning.
At this time, we see the terrible beauty of the crucifixion through the events leading up to it. We know that Jesus’ willing obedience changes our lives and restores the relationship. For God so loved us that He gave us His Son so that we may not perish but have eternal life.
Let’s pray. Dear Lord, I say ‘thank you’ for what you’ve done for me. Thank you that you bore these things so that I can be reconciled with you and have the hope of eternal life, a relationship restored with the creator, and the gift of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
