On our final day of this devotional, I want to talk about the importance of praying the Word over our financial lives.

I would say one of the best things we ever did for our financial life was to pray together about our finances. If you aren’t praying about your finances together, you are missing out on your secret weapon. God knows our spouses (and us) better than we do, so why not bring Him into this equation?

My encouragement is to find specific verses to stand on and meditate on them. Keep them rolling off your lips. Two verses that my wife and I have been praying for since we got married are Philippians 4:19 and 2 Corinthians 9:8.

Remember, when we pray together, we are creating a bond between us and choosing to lay ourselves and our preferences down for the will of God to come to pass.

Our hearts change and become united with God and each other. So, make a point to regularly be praying WITH your spouse so you can start experiencing the blessings that’ll come your way!
