It is OK. It is natural. It is intended. We are part of an ever-changing whole. Look at our body. Our body is subject to change. We are not the same every day. You can say that we are a part of an ever-changing whole. And that is, looking at creation.
Our bodies are as subject to change as the trees in the field are subject to the changing conditions of different seasons. We are a dynamic whole. And it has a cycle. We influence nature with our choices and nature then influences our choices through the developments it shows. And it is a cycle. This is nature and our place in the whole, like a puzzle piece. We are part of God’s complete puzzle.
In the midst of that natural environment, a different dynamic has emerged. It is called “the world”. It is the environment that man has created. It is an unbalanced part that does not care about the natural whole. It is the glorification of a small part, man, that causes other important areas to suffer from the imbalance. It is dictatorial leadership or laissez-faire leadership. The creation suffers under the world. We signal it and yet we take no action. Our created life is persistent. We are naive to think that we will bend this world in a split second to a natural balance. And yet I am going to assist you in meditation over the next few days to create a new perception of this balance.
It is your choice now and forever that determines how the world will turn out. And with it the dynamics between creation and the world. Do you focus on God and His creation and do you contribute to a healthy balance or do you focus on the world? Do you only enrich yourself with your work and what comes from it or do you also spend time on what is really good for you? Are you stuck in the concrete or are you regularly in nature?
1 John 2:12-17 speaks of these two situations. “We are in the world, but we are not of the world.” Think quietly about your position in relation to creation and your position in relation to the world. Are you in the world or are you of the world?
