Real Hope: The Wonder of the Lord's Creationনমুনা
Beauty Of Our Land
God, the creator, saw His work as good: the land, vegetation, fruit, and trees. As Australians, we enjoy a wonderful and unique land. It is harsh, always beautiful, wide, and vast. It reminds me of the second verse of the poem ‘My Country’ by Dorothea Mackellar from 1908:
I love a sunburnt country, A land of sweeping plains, Of ragged mountain ranges, Of droughts and flooding rains. I love her far horizons, I love her jewel-sea, Her beauty and her terror – The wide brown land for me!
We enjoy the wonder and beauty of our land, the seasons, the sun, the surf, the rivers, the inlands of wondrous rugged beauty, and the abundance of God’s provision. At the same time, Australia is rugged, harsh, and can be unforgiving. It’s part of God’s creation, and we are privileged to live here. We can thank God each day for the land, sea, trees, and fruit – it is indeed good.
Psalm 65:9 says: You care for the land and water it; you enrich it abundantly. The streams of God are filled with water to provide the people with grain, for so you have ordained it.

About this Plan
When a sculptor or artist creates something, they imprint part of who they are into the thing they’re creating – that’s what makes these items so precious and incredible – they carry the essence of their creator within them. This is true of the world that God created – we can see Him in every created thing. Join us in this plan as we take a different aspect of God’s incredible creation and explore a little more of what it says about who God is and how that truth impacts our lives.
