Engaging with God’s People

Have you ever noticed that even under persecution, churches often find ways to meet and encourage each other? This is because coming together as the body of Christ is essential for our spiritual growth. When believers meet and share their experiences, there is an opportunity to encourage one another to walk more fully with the Lord and to share the gospel more boldly.

Think about it - when someone testifies about their victory over sin, it can be incredibly inspiring and renewing for the rest of the group. This is where we find strength and courage to go out into the dark world with the light of the gospel. It's like coals in a fire - the closer they are, the hotter they'll burn. The same is true for God's people. The more we engage with one another, the stronger our relationship with God will become.

In the book of Acts, we see that the local churches were known for their fellowship and mutual encouragement. Their shared experiences were a major factor in their rapid growth.
