Acts: Go & Be Chapters 1-9নমুনা

What is this passage saying?
What a work of encouragement for the other believers when their brothers were released from jail. They came together and went before the Lord in prayer for more boldness in order to continue on with the gospel. Despite persecution, they did not back down, but prayed that God would help them even more. God shows up and affirms their prayers by physically shaking the place, filling them even more with the power of The Holy Spirit.
What is this passage teaching?
Let our prayer be when troubles, hard times, and persecution come our way, that we may endure them with great joy. When those moments arise in your life, go to God, whose steadfast grace will see you through any circumstance. God may give you a sign when you pray for things that are in His will. Do not be frightened by this, but be encouraged and empowered by Him to do the work that is laid before you. Persecution does not slow down the church, but accelerates the growth in the early church.
How do I respond?
Encourage each other when times are hard and ask God to see you through to the other side.
