Refresh: 21 Days of Prayer & Fasting

DAY 10 OF 21

Psalm 103:2-3 (NIV) “Praise the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits—who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases.”

If you are reading and speaking God's Word on healing, you are getting stronger every day, even if it appears your symptoms are remaining the same or are getting worse.

Consider the Christmas tree: although a Christmas tree appears alive and smells so fresh when you bring it into your home, the reality is it has been cut off from its life source (root system) and is dying. By the new year, that seemingly alive green tree becomes a brown and brittle fire hazard.

Just as the symptoms of life lingered in the Christmas tree for several weeks after being cut off from the roots, the symptoms of sickness, disease, infirmity, or pain may linger in your body. The Word of God is working on the source of the problem (the root). The symptoms will soon come inline with what God said as you continue putting the axe of God’s Word to the root system of the problem.

…He takes away all your diseases (Basic English).

Confidently make the following affirmation of faith:

“Bless the Lord who heals all my diseases. Lord, I praise You. Lord, I thank You. I praise You for Your benefits. (A benefit is a condition of a contract. It is not a bonus thrown at the discretion of an employer.) You heal all my diseases. Healing belongs to me as part of the New Covenant. Healing is part of my redemptive rights.”

Can you see healing as a benefit that Jesus purchased for you and not something you must earn?

"Oh my strength, unto you I will sing praises, for God is my high tower. My God of loving kindness will come to my aid” (Psalm 59:9-10).
