3 Bible Verses That Inspired Us to Be Irrationally Generousনমুনা
It is interesting to note that when Paul wrote “and my God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory” he was speaking in the context of giving.
I find this comforting and it gives me a bit of assurance that we simply cannot outgive God.
Anne Frank confidently stated that “no one ever has ever become poor from giving.” and I believe she was on to something.
Sometimes people think that my wife Linda and I are crazy for giving away 41% of our income, but it doesn’t seem that crazy to us any more.
Sure, things are tight sometimes, but I have seen too much of God’s faithfulness to NOT trust in Him as my provider.
We have watched Him come through for us time and time again. All while we continue to stretch our giving goals further and further out.
This simple promise in Philippians 4:19 to those generous givers in that church has fueled our fire to stretch our giving beyond what we ever thought was possible.
And let me be your friend in your corner nudging you to stretch in your giving with Him. You will never regret it!
Let’s pray:
God, help me to get a deeper revelation of you as my provider. Help me to know in the deepest corners of my heart that you will always take care of me and that I can trust you fully! May I grow in my generosity in response to the great generosity you have shown me. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
By God’s grace, we have become 7-figure givers and I’d love nothing more than to help you become one as well. These 3 Bible verses were critical to accomplishing that goal.
