I can’t help laughing at those who complain about attending church and refuse to go because “the place is too spiritually ‘dead’!”
You want to argue about that with Jesus? Go ahead!
“Well Lord, You certainly know things aren’t as spiritual over there as they ought to be. You know those people at church aren’t warm and friendly.”
And Jesus replies: “Warm and friendly? Have you ever been to Nazareth? The day I was there they tried to throw Me off the cliff!”
But Jesus showed up at the synagogue anyway ... “as His custom was.”
