Walk Through The Bible 365 - November

DAY 25 OF 30

Choose Your Friends Wisely

A Chinese proverb says "He who is near vermilion gets stained red; he who is near ink gets stained black." This is similar to the Greek proverb "A man is known by the company he keeps." The Bible says "Do not be deceived: Bad company ruins good morals." - 1 Cor 15:33. Godly true friends keep you moving toward God and grow your faith in God. Jesus said "love the world, go into the world, but be not of the world." Ungodly true friends may give you what you want, but won’t give you what you need. What you really need is a life centered in Christ.

Prayer: Father Lord, help me to choose the right friends who fear you, who can help me to grow in you. Help me to be a teachable person to fellowship with those who love you and those I need, not those I want. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
