Real Hope: History Makersনমুনা

An Invitation
God is the greatest storyteller. Every day, He is writing history to reflect His glory and He extends an invitation for us to be part of the glorious story.
Rahab was someone who saw the invitation and chose to take part. A prostitute, she had heard of what God had done. When the opportunity came for her to be part of God’s story, she took it and helped hide the spies that Joshua had sent. If she hadn’t helped, would they have still taken the land? Yes, because God had already promised them the land (Joshua 1:2–6), but God created an opportunity for her to be part of the victorious story.
God invites us to be part of it, too. We know how this story ends – God already has the victory. But we’re invited daily to partner with God and share His beautiful story. We can choose to use our life to point people around us to God. Regardless of what our life has looked like, what gifts and talents we have, or what mistakes we’ve made, we can say yes to God, just like Rahab. Her decision to be part of God’s story led to her life changing. She got married, had children, and ended up being listed in the lineage of Jesus (Matthew 1:5).
God invites ordinary people like you and me to tell His beautiful story to those around us. When He extends the invitation, will we say yes?
