And Mordecai told them to answer Esther: “Do not think in your heart that you will escape in the king’s palace any more than all the other Jews." Esther 4:13
Esther heard the command from Mordecai to petition the king on behalf of her people, the Jews. Fear instantly gripped Esther, and her life was literally on the line. Yet Mordecai reminded her of the potential purpose of her position.
It can be instantly overwhelming and scary when God calls you and gives you an assignment. However, you must have people in your space who remind you of your significance. You need destiny helpers, people that will not only be a listening ear but individuals that will pray for you and with you in the most challenging moments. This will require you to be vulnerable. Although this can be hard, there is so much beauty in it.
God is an advocate of community. You were never made to be alone. You were created to be relational. The beauty of community is that you can experience the heart of God through your relationships. You can find refuge and strength with the right people.
Maybe you’ve been hurt by people, and it’s hard for you to let people in. Today, I want to encourage you to give that hurt to God and let Him heal the wound with His love.
In the right community, you can flourish.
Prayer point
Lord, I release any offense that stops me from experiencing a genuine connection with You and people. Give me the discernment to identify the people you have positioned in my life. Heal my heart so I can be open to receiving them and have the courage to be vulnerable.
