Infinitum Advent Make Room, Week 3নমুনা

We are all connected. Across borders, socio-economic lines, languages, genders, personalities, religions, ages, and life plot lines of life … you can keep naming the myriad of ways we are unique individuals. Yet, one truth remains: we are all connected. What’s done to you is done to me. I suffer, we suffer. You succeed, I am elevated. There is no breaking the ecosystem woven to life at the world's Creation. We are linked to each other, linked to this planet, rooted in this time but still linked to the times before and after us. We are all connected.
Jesus said, “If you cling to your life, you will lose it.” What does it look like to cling to life? Beyond fighting against death, what would it look like today if you were clinging to your life?
Jesus juxtaposes clinging to our own lives against giving them up for Him. He says that if we’ll risk losing our lives in giving them up for Him, that’s when we’ll actually find LIFE.
As you scan your expectations of the next week or so leading to Christmas, are there places that you sense you’re ‘clinging to your life’?
What opportunities does Christmas offer you to give your life up for Jesus?
What new LIFE might be born in this season because you did?
Because we’re all connected, who might also receive more LIFE as a result of your decision?
