Making Choices Together With Godনমুনা
God's choice for you
Whatever choice you face, it is important that you do what God tells you. It is God's promise that as a follower of Jesus, you can hear His voice (John 14:27: My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.
But sometimes you have too much noise around you, or inside you, that you can't follow God's direction properly. For example, Miriam and Aaron, the brother and sister of world leader Moses, questioned the leadership of the God-appointed leader Moses. God got angry and put His promise on hold for a while. God's promise was that the entire nation of Israel would enter the promised land. But Miriam had to come to terms first, and repent, and only then could the people move on. The Abundant Future of God. You read this in Numbers 12.
You want into God's future. You want your choices to be God's choices, right? Let God discover your heart, repent of the mess and discover what God's promises are to you. And God has an abundant future for you.
Two questions for you:
1) What is God's promise to you?
2) What do you want to repent of?
“Father, holy and loving God. I praise your name. Thank you for your overwhelming love. Thank you for speaking into my life. Thank you for hearing and learning to understand your guidance. I am available. My heart is open to you. Whatever is in it that carries impurity, bring it to light. I repent of [mention what you may still be attached to]. Show me your way. Lord I follow you with all I have. In Jesus' Name, Amen.’’
