God's Not Mad at You, in Fact He Loves Youনমুনা
We will not always understand everything that happens to us. Yet, God’s children can rest in the certainty that all things work for good for those who love the Lord according to His purpose. At the time of the test, it is difficult to trust that everything will go well, but the most important thing to do is persevere through the storm. It is easier said than done, you would say. Believe me; I get it. I want you to know that God is with you even during the trial and the pain. God does not lie, not even to change His mind. If He said it, consider it done.
While writing my story, I decided I needed to process some of my new feelings with a counselor. He introduced me to a technique called “walking through the pain with Jesus.” It would require me to recall an occasion where I suffered abuse. I immediately thought about the day my uncle decided to bring other men to abuse me. Immediately I remembered while being raped, I was actually being held by Jesus, which is hard for me to explain and sometimes understand. One thing I know for sure is if I am alive today, it is because I was born with a purpose, and He saved me. God restored everything the enemy stole from me — my innocence, my peace of mind, everything, absolutely EVERYTHING.
Today, I can sing with joy because I am here. I am free. I want to tell you that I am God’s favorite child, but I am not. God has no favorites, and if you seek Him, trust Him, and hold on to His promises because redemption, forgiveness, and restoration are also for you. You have no time to waste. Trust Him.
About this Plan
Sometimes we blame others, including God, our creator, when we do not understand the situations we go through because we do not find answers to our questions. This plan attempts to clarify doubts and questions such as, "Is there a God?" Why do bad things happen if God is good?
