Love God Greatly: God With Us

DAY 17 OF 26

SOAP – Revelation 5:9
John shows us a glimpse of the unrestrained worship and celebration in heaven. The song celebrated Jesus Christ’s willingness to sacrifice His life on the Cross for the ransom of His people. We are unworthy to stand before God in our own righteousness and good deeds. Only Jesus, who paid the price for our sins, is worthy of our worship and all of our praise.

What or whom is receiving your worship? Worship is the deepest desire of the human heart. We were created by God for worship to Him, so if we are not worshipping God, we will worship something or someone else. The highest position we can attain is on our knees before Jesus in worship.

Father God, You alone are worthy of all of our honor, all of our glory, and all of our praise. Give me a heart that desires to boldly speak of You. Help me, Lord, to worship You in good times and in bad. Remove any obstacles that keep me from worshipping You and celebrating Your works in my life. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

About this Plan

Love God Greatly: God With Us

In this 4-week Advent Study, we will look at some of the Old Testament promises of the Savior and the humility that would characterize Him. We will study why He came and the response of various people in the Christmas story, including how we too should respond to Jesus and His coming. You can purchase the book on Amazon: God With Us by Love God Greatly. Please note: The study is designed to break on the weekends. You will have two days each week without content.
