An Angel Encounter!নমুনা
75 MILES AN HOUR DOWN I-75
Decades ago, my youngest daughter and her friend wanted to go on Spring Break to Florida. After discussing it with her friend’s parents, we all agreed; only if I rode along. They even offered us their brand-new SUV!
On the morning of the trip. we all met in our church parking lot, held hands in a circle, and prayed. Excitement permeated the vehicle as we headed to our destination!
We stopped just outside of Atlanta for lunch, taking our soft drinks with us. I was in the back seat resting, as my daughter kept the pace of traffic. Highway traffic is always busy, especially outside of Atlanta. As she reached for her drink, in an instant the car veered off the shoulder. By overcorrecting, we found ourselves stopped in the passing lane of I-75 with an incline behind us that caused a blind spot for oncoming traffic. She froze! To this day I don’t know how we changed from her being in the driver’s seat to me getting there from the back seat.
As I tried to pull the van ahead, we were hit on the back passenger side, which catapulted the van into the median, headed for a culvert. I remember screaming, “JESUS!” In that instant, we stopped just a few feet from the culvert! Thankfully no one in either vehicle was injured.
“For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
We know the scripture is referring to our eternal soul, yet I firmly believe when we regularly call upon His name, that He will intervene on our behalf as we trust Him to spare us.
The Georgia State Highway Patrol came. After issuing a warning, he directed me as I backed the car up onto the highway. He escorted us into the countryside to an auto repair shop. The mechanic went over the car and deemed it safe to complete the trip, and he wouldn’t charge us a thing!
“For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.” Psalm 91:11
We continued the trip, spending the week with the girls having fun, and made it safely back home. Did God send an angel at that moment? I will always believe He did, as cars were swerving to miss us, horns were blaring at us, and the car stopped short of the culvert!

About this Plan
INTRODUCTION: Not everyone believes Angels exist, but I do. I recently had an encounter that I am confident an Angel assisted me to safety! Join me as we learn about these supernatural beings that are larger than life. I do not worship angels; I worship God and know He designed them for a purpose as much as He did you and me!
