Enforcing You: Standing on the Promises of Godনমুনা
“Behold, I have created the blacksmith Who blows the coals in the fire, Who brings forth an instrument for his work...” Is. 54:16
Throughout the ages, man has invented and designed things based on demand. In other words, the NEED is the only reason why the invention was even brought into existence. Moreover, time is taken to carefully consider how the design should be crafted to satisfy the purpose uniquely.
The point here is that the need was there BEFORE the design, hence WHY and HOW the design came to be. We learn from this the value of purpose behind ALL inventions!
In Isaiah 54:16, we are reminded that God has created all things specifically SUITED for the purpose. Look at the phrase, “Who brings forth an instrument for his work.” Just as a blacksmith forges an instrument based on the purpose, so God has forged YOU based on YOUR purpose.
Many of us may feel that we are too small for our purpose, that our passions overwhelm us, and our dreams are outside our ability. But God says that He has fashioned you with your purpose in mind. You are perfectly suited for your calling.
God has not set you up to fail. On the contrary, He has set you up for success! Your personality, strengths, and gifts are fit for your purpose.
The Bible says to “delight yourself in the Lord, and He will grant you the desires of your heart.” In your heart is where your passions live, where you discover what makes you tick and what ticks you off! It is where your purpose is seated.
The word delight in Hebrew means:
·to be soft
·to be delicate
·to be pampered
I can’t help but think about just being soft and pliable in His hands, vulnerable to His Word, pampered by His love, and SURRENDERED to His Presence.
Are you allowing yourself to “be soft” in the hands of God? Is He able to guide you and direct you by His love? Moreover, are you confident that God has designed you perfectly for your purpose?
Let’s start by declaring this together. “God, I choose to surrender by heart to You, and I declare that as I do, You will grant me the desires of my heart. In Jesus’ name, amen.”
