Instructions – Asking God for Guidance
Whoever gives heed to instructions prospers and is blessed is he who trusts in the Lord. (Prov. 16:20)
Lord Jesus, it seems that the things of the Spirit cannot be learned entirely by our intellect. It is spiritually perceived through the instructions of the Holy Spirit as He speaks within our spirit.
See 1 John 2:27: As for you, the anointing you received from him remains in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about all things and as that anointing is real, not counterfeit—just as it has taught you, remain in him.
Read James 3:1. O Jesus, judging by what James says, teaching is a big responsibility, and there is a need for more wisdom.
My child, you do well to ask for wisdom. King Solomon asked exactly that. You will receive wisdom when you conquer the lessons I have been teaching. I chose you, my special people, for special training. Do not go out under your own strength; I need to prepare people, as all are at different stages in their spiritual growth. Be ready whenever I require you to, not whenever you aspire to. I have a perfect time for everything—every single thing. Think on these matters.
It is essential to mature and follow the Holy Spirit’s instructions no matter the inconvenience, no matter the complexity.
My children, you must follow closely to what I tell you to do. The evil one will try to prevent you, but I will not allow him to tempt you beyond what you can bear. I permit circumstances to teach you. Continue in this way, and I will say more to you about the way of guidance!
“Not many of you should presume to be teachers, my brothers, because you know that we who teach will be judged more strictly” (James 3:1).
