Prince of Peace

RECITE GOD’S GOODNESS:

Precious Prince of Peace, in a world where trust runs low and fear runs high, You bring shalom by Your very presence. From calming a stormy sea to restoring sight to the blind, Jesus, You brought peace wherever You went. In my own life, You’ve been my peace. So I praise You.

EXPRESS YOUR NEEDINESS:

You are my God. What can mere humans do to me? You are the Prince of Peace. Let Your perfect peace guard my heart and mind. I bring all my anxiety under Your rule, Jesus. Help me bring Your peace into all my relationships, as Your ambassador to an anxious world.

SEEK HIS STILLNESS:

Consider how Jesus has brought His peace into your life, and praise Him. Then be still, allowing His presence to fill you up and make you whole.

TRUST HIS FAITHFULNESS:

God, You are faithful to Your promises, so I wait for the Prince of Peace to return and reign forever and ever. Even though I live in a broken world, my citizenship is in heaven, and my allegiance is to You alone. I can rest in Your peace today.
