True Thankfulness
The response of thankfulness is to tell of God’s wonderful deeds. Psalms were written to be proclaimed out loud so others would know about what God has done. And don’t we have things to be thankful for!
As we get closer to Christmas, our minds turn to the birth of Jesus, our Lord and Saviour. Something to praise God about is the gift of His Son our Lord and Saviour. But we don’t have to leave our thankfulness for significant occasions. God can be thanked all the time each new day, as we walk outside, marvel at His creation, enjoy friends and family, meet with our brothers and sisters, and sing our own psalms of praise.
Today's verse says ‘with all my heart’. That means with all my whole being, the central and deepest part of me, my full self.
This is how we thank God. We honour Him in our lives as we thank Him, with our words and actions, showing how we are thankful. We tell others of His deeds, share the story of Jesus’ birth, life, death and resurrection. Our words and lives reflect our thankfulness in following Him and how that has changed our lives.
True thankfulness is at our core, and we do indeed thank the Lord for that, and our lives tell of His wonderful deeds!

About this Plan
This year has again been challenging. Not only for the world but I think most people would say that they have certainly faced extra challenges this year. As we head into this holiday season, this season of celebration and remembrance of salvation, we wanted to spend time in thanksgiving. Thanksgiving for immense blessings, love, grace, mercy and the salvation we have received through our Lord Jesus Christ.
