Forgiveness: What Makes It Easier?নমুনা
Forgiveness: We Do It By Faith
Luke 17:3-6 (KJV) says: Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him. And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him. And the apostles said unto the Lord, Increase our faith. And the Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey you.
Considering the response of Jesus’ disciples, we see that it takes faith to forgive. We, too, can cry out, “Lord, increase my faith to forgive, trusting that you are a God of justice.”
Unforgiveness is like a tree with fruits of anger, bitterness, sickness, and spiritual stagnation. We can use our faith in the God of justice and righteousness to uproot the tree of unforgiveness.
Would you please take a moment and release anyone who has wronged you? If possible, seek reconciliation with faith that God will make things right.
