Looking for Hope in a Hopeless Worldনমুনা
Summary of Hope
The sum of the matter is this. Never has there been such a need for hope as there is right now. If we stand in the hope that exists in Jesus Christ, we can weather the storms of disease and disaster that surround us. We should also remember that according to Bible prophecy, the problems we face now are just the beginning. There are worse still to come.
Our hope is in Jesus Christ and the promises He made through the Gospel. We hope in and through the Lord because He is the source of our salvation and will do as He has promised.
Even if you fall into desperation, let that desperation motivate you to hope rather than despair. Desperately seek hope so that you can find a place of peace in yourself. Jesus promises a peace that is beyond understanding when we come to Him.
That is why people need the hope that comes from Jesus Christ. Hoping in Christ will guide us through as we await His intervention and the rolling out of His plan for the future.
People need hope because without hope there is only despair. Despair leads to suffering, anxiety, and loss. But hope leads to joy, endurance, strength, and peace.
Hope does not stand alone but is part of the whole scheme of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Hope abides and works alongside faith and love, and together they build upon each other.
Remember: “Hope” empowers “Faith” to achieve God’s “Love”
Hope is future-focused, and hope is about life. Hope underpins the abundant life. It is hope that gets us out of bed in the morning to face a new day, regardless of what it brings. It is hope that excites our life to push forward and motivate us to bigger and better things. Hope is a great blessing from the Lord because hope is life and it promises even more life.
We build our hope by following the gospel of Jesus Christ. As we immerse ourselves in His word, increasing our faith, increasing our knowledge, and walking in love, we build hope. And let us not forget the power of the Holy Spirit who pours God’s love into our hearts so that our hopes do not fall into disappointment.
Hope is shared as a Church. Jesus works with the Church and through the Church to strengthen our hope. As we come together, the brethren strengthen each other and encourage one another in hope.
