Guardians Of Ancora Bible Plan: Ancora Kids Go Out To Dinnerনমুনা
THE DINNER HOUSE
A miracle is an amazing thing that is hard to explain and is not expected. Miracles are sometimes called “mighty acts of God,” “signs” or “wonders.” When people saw them they were amazed. In the Bible, miracles are performed by God, by Jesus or through ordinary people by the Holy Spirit’s power.
When Jesus made Simon Peter’s mother-in-law well, was it a “miracle”? Check, with these questions:
- Is it hard to explain how Jesus could make her well?
- How could he do that?
- Was it expected?
- Did the family expect Jesus could do such an amazing thing?
- Were people amazed?
If a miracle is a “wonder,” what is wonderful about this story?
If a miracle is a “sign,” what does this story point us towards?
This little story is written in the Bible three times! Read them all. Miracles, like this one, point us to God and show us his power. They seem amazing to us, but the Bible says that “nothing is impossible for God.”
Pray: What do you want to say to God after hearing this story? Say it now!
