10 ENCOURAGING Reasons for Trialsনমুনা
Have you ever considered that your trial may not have anything to do with you at all?
I’m sure Joseph understood this.
As he stood before his brothers, I am sure his mind traced the timeline that began with his dreams in the night of him being in authority over his family, then traced through the betrayal by his brothers, injustice from Potiphar’s wife, abandonment from the butler in prison, and up to that moment when he was put in a position of authority to save the entire world from starvation.
The end of his affliction reveals an outcome that reached beyond his family and himself.
The purpose of his trial involved the entire world!
Your trail may have nothing to do with you, but rather God may be using it to reach someone else.
Trials allow us to model characteristics of the Savior to a lost world, or even to an exhausted brother or sister in Christ.
People need to see you make it through your trial.
People saved and lost, yearn for proof and examples that God is enough for their exact trial.
When we choose to keep living abundantly regardless of hardships and afflictions, we are giving others hope that scripture is true and that God really is enough.
We have to learn to see beyond our trail.
Every moment we are in has the potential to be used for God and His purpose.
The way we handle a trial can have a significant positive or negative impact on those watching us.
And someone is always watching.
So the second beautiful reason for a trial is to benefit others.
Remember that God promises that ALL things work together for good. That promise applied to Joseph, and it is just as powerful as you apply it to your trial today!
