Up! We Will Elevate (Week 6)নমুনা
Day Four - I See The Good In Others
Welcome to this devotional for kids! Our ‘UP’ series is inspired by our ‘We Will Elevate’ DNA. We practice showing kindness to those around us and never leave anyone out. We value others the way God values us by being a good friend and listener, respecting our leaders and parents, and choosing to always see the good in others.
During this series, we want to truly grasp what it means to honor and elevate those around us, not just those who seem to be popular or the most important in our lives, but to remember that God wants us to ‘take delight in honoring each other’ that means everyone!
Follow along as we truly grasp what it means to honor and elevate those around us!
READ:
A Hole in the Roof in any children's Bible or Matthew 9:1-8.
Do you know God views you as wonderful and wants you to come to Him just like this story shows us!
ASK:
How do you think God views you?
Did you know that even though you may feel alone at times you are not a stranger to God? God sees you as one of his very own children!
1 John 3:1 says ‘The Father has loved us so much! He loved us so much that we are called children of God. And we really are his children. But the people in the world do not understand that we are God’s children, because they have not known him.’
Always remember, you are a child of God. He is a very loving and protective Father. He is always ready to listen to you and always wants to hear your voice.
What would you like to talk with Him about today?
REMEMBER:
Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honoring each other. (Romans 12:10)
SAY:
Jesus, you show us how to be kind,
No greater love will we find.
Your deep love gives us great value,
Growing us as we learn more about you.
Our friend, our saviour, our kind teacher,
Helping us see the good in each other.
Amen.
