5 Powerful Prayers to Impact the Hearts of Our School Communitiesনমুনা
Hearts of Belief
Clive Staples Lewis said, “I believe in Christianity as I believe that the sun has risen, not only because I see it but because by it I see everything else.” Lewis spent many years living in unbelief, declaring at age 17, “I believe in no religion.” He examined many world views, concluding none were worthy of his life.
He was considered a prodigy, learning to read at age three, progressing to achieve the prestigious title of Professor of English Literature at Oxford University. Following a 15 year spiritual quest, he finally placed his belief and faith in Christ at age 31, changing the world through the writings of 40 books, including The Chronicles of Narnia. After C.S. Lewis finally surrendered to God, the whole world was blessed by his faith. May students today follow the example of Lewis’ faith and also impact our world in significant ways.
Today, as we continue to pray powerful prayers to impact the hearts of our school communities, we trust God to lead students and staff to belief in Him, thus changing the world.
Praise God, Who is Believable!
“God is not human, that He should lie, not a human being, that He should change His mind. Does He speak and then not act? Does He promise and not fulfill?” Numbers 23:19
God, You are faithful and true. You are not fallible like humans, but can be believed always. You do not lie, You always fulfill Your promises.
“But these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in His name.” John 20:31
May the students and staff of our school communities believe in You with all of their hearts. May this most important issue, the issue of life and eternity, be settled as each person surrenders their heart to You.
Pray for Hearts to Share their Belief in God
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes…” Romans 1:16
God, we ask that You would raise up a generation of young men and women who are not ashamed of the gospel, who are not pushed back or silenced by fear or pressure to be politically correct. May they stand strong and surrendered, sharing the good news of the gospel in love, wherever You send them. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
