Part of having faith in Jesus means that we do what He says we should do and live the way He says we should, simply because we trust Him; He knows what’s best for us. If we say we believe in Jesus and have faith in Him, but we don’t do anything to prove that to other people, it doesn’t mean anything! We might even look fake to other people because we say one thing with our words but act a completely different way with our actions. We show others that we believe when we follow through with our actions. When we do, we have the opportunity to tell others about Jesus, too.
Sometimes, actions speak louder than words. People will notice when you love others and treat them with kindness and respect, and they might even ask you why you choose to treat others with love. That is the perfect opportunity to tell them about Jesus and how your faith in Him changes not only the way you talk, but also the way you act.
Challenge: Today, prove your faith with your actions by loving someone around you. Take time to serve someone. This could look like holding the door open for someone, helping a family member with chores, or cleaning up leaves from your neighbor’s yard. There are lots of ways to show kindness to those around you!

About this Plan
Faith is putting your trust in something, even if you don't see it or have visible proof. Faith in God can be challenging, especially since we usually don’t hear God audibly speaking to us or see Him right in front of us. But faith is the foundation of a relationship with Jesus. Join us for the next seven days as we look at what it means to live by faith.
