Key Themes: Key Topical Themes Of The Bibleনমুনা

Grace
Paul is writing to a younger leader named Timothy who is the pastor of a church in Ephesus. Paul is concerned because some people in the church of Ephesus are pursuing beliefs that are false or of minor importance. Paul understands people like this because he was once one of them. Remembering who he was before, Paul speaks of God’s grace that forgave him of his ugly past.
Grace causes people to choose to honor God with their lives. Like Paul, we are all the worst of sinners when compared to God’s standard. We can take advantage of God’s grace and expect Him to continue to forgive us or we can be in awe of the One who gives us grace and serve Him.
