Love God Greatly: Davidনমুনা
SOAP: 2 Samuel 12:13-15
David acknowledged his sin before God and sincerely repented. He didn’t make excuses, but fully confessed that he had chosen to disobey and now needed God’s forgiveness. Unlike his predecessor Saul, David’s words were not empty promises. He genuinely desired to turn around and choose obedience.
True repentance restores relationship. When we sin, the best choice is to ask for forgiveness immediately. We can’t hide our sin from God, and choosing to pretend that we are guiltless only leads to broken fellowship with our Healer. God will not exempt us from the consequences of our sinful choices, but He will never hold Himself back from walking closely with the truly contrite.
Father, we cry out for Your mercy and forgiveness. Purify our hearts. Renew a steadfast spirit in us and restore to us the joy of our salvation. Amen.
