Sometimes, we may feel that our prayers aren’t really making any difference. That they are just words that seem to barely hit the ceiling. We may feel disheartened when we don’t see immediate answers to prayer or instant transformations, but the word of God encourages us even when we feel tired and discouraged. We are called to “carry through” in prayer and put into execution all that is called for despite opposition. Let us carry through in action, carry through in prayer. Our prayers are not in vain. Yes, they require more rigorous labor from us, but what is that compared to the sacrifice Jesus paid for us?

Pray for:

• A fresh anointing of grace to fall on the Church that we will continue steadfastly in prayer.

• Hope to fill our hearts.

• Trust in God’s mercy and His timing.
