Bold Faith - Part 1 - SE Studentsনমুনা
Bold Faith Moves Beyond Belief. Are you tired of reading that phrase? Hopefully not! We want that to stick with you and for you to be one who is marked by bold faith.
Today, as you wrap up part 1 of this Bible Plan, consider what you will do and how you will respond to this idea of Bold Faith.
At the end of Joshua chapter 1, Joshua is encouraging the Israelites to stay full of faith as they soon approach a difficult season ahead. In response to Joshua’s challenge, the Israelites answered Joshua by saying, “We will do whatever you command us, we will go wherever you send us, and we will obey you just as we obeyed Moses.”
Bold faith looks and sounds a lot like that. It is a willingness to proclaim, despite all the uncertainty ahead, that you will do, go, and obey. Think about what would be different in your life if each day you approached God with this bold faith and said, “I will do whatever you ask, I will go wherever you send me, and I will obey you completely.” Who would God send you to love one at a time? Where would God call you to go and help connect people to His love? How would God challenge you to obey more completely?
It might seem scary, but today you have an opportunity to begin putting into practice how your bold faith will move beyond belief.
Today pray, “God what you ask me to do, I will do. God where You ask me to go, I will go. God, when You ask me to obey, I will obey. And when I fail, help me to get back up and follow You again.”
Thanks for completing this reading plan! We pray that this helped you get connected to Jesus. We would love to hear from you on how God used this plan in your life. Keep the conversation going by emailing us at keeptalking@secc.org.
