Seeing With Godনমুনা
"Things never discovered or heard of before, things beyond our ability to imagine - these are the many things God has in store for all his lovers. But God now unveils these profound realities to us by the Spirit. Yes, he has revealed to us his inmost heart and deepest mysteries through the Holy Spirit, who constantly explores all things." (1 Corinthians 2:9 TPT)
The Passion Translation totally brings this scripture alive in my heart. God has predisposed himself to show us "never discovered or heard of" things. It's the desire of His heart that we see and understand Him well. When we talk about understanding the things of God, we are talking about grasping His truths with more than just our minds. We are talking about grasping His truths with our hearts. This goes beyond our mental capacities and brings us into an experiential understanding of God. An experiential understanding of God causes us to grasp the reasons why God does what He does rather than just grasping what He does. We begin to experience His character. This opens our eyes so that we can see who He really is. And this is what transforms our own hearts to become like Him.
With faith stirring in your heart about God's willingness to show you "profound realities", continue to take some time alone each day to allow God to breathe His inspiration into your imagination through His word and through His Holy Spirit. As you continue to give God precious moments during your day, He will continue to paint pictures on your heart so that you can better embrace the things that He wants to show you. He is super good! He loves you and he wants you to see more!
Pray out the Ephesians 1:17-18 prayer again today and for as many days as you like! It is absolutely wonderful to have God share His heart with us by showing us simple things as well as profound things.

About this Plan
We often spend most of our prayer time listening for God's voice, but there is more! God wants to speak to us, but He also wants to show us some things as well. Open the eyes of your understanding and allow God to show you heaven's plans for your life. Are you ready to see what He sees about you?
