Real Hope: Gideonনমুনা
It's Not About The Army, It's About The Individual In The Army
At the start of Judges 7, Gideon has assembled an army of 32,000 men. It is an impressive army for something that God is about to do by Himself. Which is why God prunes the people, to find those who will stand as a testimony to His greatness.
Those who tremble in fear depart. Now just 10,000 remain. Gideon then takes them to drink and, of that 10,000, just a handful lapped the water like a dog. The 300 men who drank like dogs will be the testimony to God’s goodness.
God didn’t need an army, He needed people to bear witness to His greatness. The entire conflict involved jar smashing and trumpet blowing. The Midianites were thoroughly defeated by God. The 300 men were there as a witness and testimony to God. So can we not just be that?
Be a witness to the goodness and faithfulness of God. When people ask about you, point them to the goodness of God working in you. Point them to the many times God showed up and did something extraordinary.
God didn’t need an army to fight, He needed people to stand as a testimony to what He can accomplish. The accomplishment in your life is a testimony to the goodness of God. Stand as a testimony to that.

About this Plan
All throughout the Bible there are stories of ordinary people being used by God to do extraordinary things. Gideon was one such person. As you journey through Gideon's life, our prayer is that you are encouraged and challenged, and that you ultimately remember God is faithful till the end.
