On the Road With Jesus to Christmasনমুনা
Inexplicable miracles
Inexplicable things. Have you ever experienced any? Things that really cannot happen, but do? I remember visiting my old grandfather in a busy hospital room, just before he died. He was stone deaf. Usually, he could hardly hear when wearing two hearing aids in his ears. And now, in a busy room (20 people who visited 5 others) and without his hearing aids, we could have a normal conversation and he heard everything. I was deeply impressed. I am still convinced that God wanted to make something clear to me at that time
It must have been like that with the birth of John too. Two old people who are expecting a child. That is not possible. They were old and sterile. And when the child was born, they renamed him. Very strange. Especially in that time and age. As icing on the cake, the father starts suddenly talking again, after 9 months of having been dumb. That must be something special.
The people present were impressed. God had his eye on this baby boy. That is why it has all been written down. John was the Herald of Jesus. Zechariah already heard from God what was going to happen. God shows him that the Saviour, who God promised from the beginning, is coming.
The same promise still stands. This Saviour has also come for you. To save you from stress, worries, guilt, shame, and death too. The Saviour Jesus came on behalf of God. For you. Get to know Him and believe the miracles that happened and still happen.
