Real Hope: Joyনমুনা
The Treasure of Joy
Who doesn’t like an unexpected gain or benefit—something that arrives unexpectedly and brings a delight that can be treasured and may bring joy. According to pirate movies, "X" marks the spot where treasure can be found, assuming they knew where to start from!
What do we treasure? What is it we value most? Sometimes it is family or friends; perhaps it is security, or our job, a regular income, or the ability to get away from the busyness of the day to day.
The psalmist writes that it is God’s Word that is a great treasure, something to rejoice in.
Joy in the Bible is greater than happiness; it is a deeper feeling of fulfilled contentment that’s provided by God alone. That means that, no matter what comes at you, God is there with you. While a situation may be difficult and times might be tough, God is in the center of your life, and it is on Him that you can rely. This is true joy.
God’s Word guides us in understanding what He requires of us, what a life lived in Him is about, and what a relationship with Him involves.
So, we can rejoice in His works because He loves us, He cares for us, and He wants us to live our lives with Him at the center.
Surely this is the greatest treasure of all—the one that brings deep and certain joy.

About this Plan
In the Bible the word "joy" is mentioned over 200 times. It seem like it is an emotion that we as Christians should intrinsically understand and be able to relate to, but sometimes this is not the case. This plan has been designed to help you explore the gift of joy!
